Who Is Eligible to Apply?
UTME Candidates
To qualify for the AFUED Post UTME screening under the UTME route, you must meet all of the following:
- Scored a minimum of 150 marks in the 2026 UTME
- Have five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
- Chose AFUED as your first-choice institution on JAMB — or change it before applying
- Have an active email address and phone number (the university will contact you through these)
Did not choose AFUED as first choice? No problem. You can change your institution of first choice to AFUED on the JAMB portal before applying. Do this first, then proceed to the screening portal.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
Direct Entry candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 7 points in their NCE final examination
- Have at least one (1) Merit Pass in their chosen course of study
- Submit hard copies of their NCE/ND results and transcripts directly to the Directorate of Senate Matters and Admissions, AFUED
- Have chosen AFUED as first choice (or effect a change on JAMB CAPS)

How to Apply for AFUED Post UTME Form 2026/2027
Follow these steps carefully. Editing is not possible once the form is submitted, so be thorough before clicking “Submit.”
- Make payment first — Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 via Etranzact or REMITA at any commercial bank, or pay online using your debit or credit card.
- Visit the portal — Go to portal.afued.edu.ng once payment is confirmed.
- Fill the online form — Provide accurate personal and academic details. Double-check everything.
- Upload your passport photograph — Must be clear, without eyeglasses or veil, in JPEG format, and not more than 50kb in size.
- Upload your O’Level results — WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results. DE candidates should also upload NCE/ND results where applicable.
- Upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS — Make sure your results are also uploaded on the JAMB Central Processing System.
- Cross-check all entries — Review every field before proceeding.
- Submit the form — Once submitted, no edits are allowed.
- Print your screening slip — Keep this for use during the screening exercise.
Important: If your O’Level results are not yet out, wait until they are released before applying. Do not apply without complete results.
